Grain boat on Kupa river

Sailing on Kupa and Korana on the Zora grain boat for individual visitors and groups

A special experience for individual visitors and for groups is sailing on the Zora grain boat. Along with river sailors and special entertainment, Zora will take visitors to the time of Turkish attacks on boats.

The departure is from Brođani near Karlovac, and the offer includes several arrangements: sailing for 90 and 180 minutes and school trips. However, the boat also offers the possibility of organising various anniversaries or weddings.

Zora is a faithful replica of the grain ship that sailed on Kupa in the 18th century. During the sailing, you can see the remains of the old railway bridge demolished in the Homeland War and bunkers from the Second World War, the Pauline Monastery and the Our Lady of the Snows Church in Kamensko. The excursion is accompanied by a number of animals, such as the beautiful kingfisher, the white-tailed eagle, mallards, herons, cormorants, and an occasional otter or a beaver.

The Zora grain boat can accommodate 60 passengers, and all visitors can enjoy locally made cookies and a welcome beverage.
