Dance & Play Like Local, 18 and 19 August

If you missed any of the events where we wanted to show you how locals live or celebrate, there is no need for concern because you will have the opportunity to participate in a two-day football tournament and experience the charms of nightlife filled with dancing and singing. Mark 18 and 19 August in your calendars because we guarantee you will have a great time.

On 18 August, in addition to the mini-football tournament, the Holy Mass will be held to mark the Feast of St. Helena of the Cross, and in the evening you can visit the Lika Farmers Market with local producers and an entertainment programme featuring the performances by the Municipality of Rakovica majorettes, TS Skitnice, and Frano Pehar with the Tarapana Band.

On 19 August, we will start with the play Land of the Wolves (Zemlja vukova), with Tonka Mršić as the lead. The play addresses the issues of social rules, primarily in Lika or any other small community, which affect the destinies of three Lika women at different stages of their lives. After the play, we continue the programme with the Strings Band!
